The Art of Black History Month
Amongst the flowers and heart shaped candy this Valentine’s Day, there was an evening representing history and culture. Presented by The Artists of Colour the art exhibit titled The Stories We Tell opened its doors to pedestrians on Friday, February the 14th. In honour of Black History Month, the artists portrayed their stories through art, song and spoken word poetry.
