“Cultural Mosaic is the mix of bits and pieces of ethnic groups’ languages and culture which co-exist within society. This show represents the diverse assemblage of individual artists who have combined their collective talents to tell the world that creativity transcends all individual differences.”

Edward Milo Johnson relates the exciting story of John ‘Daddy’ Hall and his journey to freedom in Canada.
His presentation will describe the process of writing your family history book through the use of storytelling.

A Visual Art Documentary
A look back at the last fifty years in African American art, Colored Frames is an unflinching exploration of influences, inspirations and experiences of black artists. Beginning at the height of the Civil Rights Era and leading up to the present, it is a naked and truthful look at often ignored artists and their progeny.

Lt. Col. Alexander Jefferson speaks on his book
Memoirs of a Tuskegee Airman and POW
Lt. Col. Alexander Jefferson a retired US Air Force officer, recipient of the Purple Heart now enshrined in Michigan Aviation Hall of Fame. On March 29, 2007, Jefferson attended a ceremony in the U.S. Capitol rotunda, where he and all the other members of the Tuskegee Airmen (and their widows) were collectively awarded the Congressional Gold Medal in recognition of their service.
