The Artists of Colour value the support of our sponsors and donors, without you it would be impossible to continue presenting one of Windsor's premier art shows.

The Artists of Colour
Present our Annual Art Exhibition

Ya Gotta Have Art!

 Friday, April 28, 2023 until Sunday, May 7, 2023
Mackenzie Hall and Cultural Centre and The Common Ground Gallery, 3277 Sandwich Street, Windsor, Ontario N9C 1A9

Opening Reception, Friday, April 28, 2023 at 7pm - 9pm

As artists, we want to enforce that a world without “art” is a world without communication. We believe that the “arts” are the conduit of encouragement, enlightenment and unity.

Encourage     art promotes well being
Enlighten   art provides a greater knowledge and understanding of our world around us
Unity   art brings all ethnicities and cultures together through the implementation of creativity for a common purpose or action.

The Artists of Colour are seeking sponsors and or donors to assist us with the promotion and execution of our annual exhibit, “Ya Gotta Have Art!”.

The Artists of Colour is a group of artists whose mandate it is to speak boldly of our history through the visual and oral language of art. It is our desire to showcase the works of artists of all ethnicities and diversities, both the professional and the emerging artists. Our goal is to present art in a positive light within our community that will develop a greater understanding and appreciation of art.

The response to our previous exhibits from both the Mackenzie Hall staff and our guests (which has included daily guided public-school tours, family days and workshops) has been very positive and encouraging, and clearly substantiated the need for a show of this calibre. Our past events have been successful in part due to the support from our sponsors and donors who saw the potential and wanted to encourage this educational experience.

Therefore, once again, we have engaged the entire McKenzie Hall Cultural Centre and Common Ground Gallery. We ask for your sponsorship and or your donation to continue our vision.
